Perfect grip for all your projects

Cricut® cutting mats have been designed from the ground up to be long lasting and provide just the right level of tack for different materials. Each has just the right level of grip to not only hold your material firmly in place during cutting, but to also allow you to easily remove the material from the adhesive surface. The three different mats guarantee extraordinary results with materials ranging from vellum to vinyl to chipboard.

StandardGrip mat

The StandardGrip mat is a mult-purpose mat that is perfect for a wide range of medium-weight materials, including patterned paper, vinyl, iron-on, and cardstock. Available in 12" x 24", 12" x 12", 8 ½" x 12" and 6" x 12".
StrongGrip mat
The StrongGrip mat offers a strong hold surface perfect for heavy-weight materials such as specialty cardstock, glitter cardstock, chipboard, and fabric with stiffener. It's our longest lasting mat featuring double life adhesive technology. Available in 12" x 12".
Using Cricut® Cutting Mats
For best performance, use the recommended material types for each of the three mats. Be sure to use the recommended cut set tings for your material type as well.

For even wear across the entire surface of the mat, alternate which end you load into the machine first.

Cleaning Cricut® Cutting Mats

To easily remove excess material from your mat, gently bend the mat until one edge of the material releases. Slowly remove enough material to grasp, then place mat and material on a flat surface and pull mat away from material until released.

Remove all negative pieces around the cut image and then lift your image off the mat using the Cricut® Tools spatula.

Remove material from the mat using an upward motion, rather than putting it back over the top of itself. This will help prevent the cut image from curling.

To clean small pieces remaining on the mat, use the Cricut® Tools scraper. When removing scraps with the scraper, place the mat on a hard surface for easier removal.
